First of all, the new repository address for tpclient-pywx works perfecly. Ubuntu recognized it, and successfully installed the client. Thanks guys for fixing that!<br><br>With the rolling out of the new version of tpserver-cpp, which version should I use to do the testing for the rfts ai client? And if the new version is preferred, will it still support protocol v.03? (hopefully no major changes in libtpproto-java required?).<br>
<br>Also, regardless of the last question, I encountered a potential problem with the manual installation of tpserver-cpp: It did not register itself in the package manager on ubuntu, and now I can see no way of removing it (I read the provided documentation, but couldn't find anything on uninstall). Of course it would be preferrable to have an elegant way of uninstalling it, but if there is none, perhaps someone knows how to do it "surgically"? (i.e. dig in all the system files it changed).<br>
<br>This issue will be a problem if testing on the new version is preferred, but even if not, i'd like to uninstall it and do a normal package installation of 0.4.1 (see post scriptum!).<br><br>Thanks :)<br><br>Victor.<br>
<br>-- PS : ironically, the ubuntu package manager (both synaptic and aptitude) got word of the 0.4.1 version of tpserver-cpp right on the day the new one was released... that's why I had to do the manual install beforehand.<br>
